Moultrie oaks was started in 1985, and continues to this day, as a family owned and operated community for retirees looking for a winter escape. Our community is composed of approximately 220 homes situated on 35 acres. Our beautiful community center is centrally located, is approximately 5,000 square feet and serves as the hub of community activities. The amenities of the community center are a solar/gas heated swimming pool, shuffleboard courts, fitness room with many new machines and equipment, small library, computer, billiards table and a well equipped kitchen to cater the many social activities. Our activities are planned by a group of volunteer residents that have a calendar packed full of parties, dances, bingo and cards. We are conveniently located approximately 1/3 of a mile west of U.S. 1 at the Moultrie Square Publix Plaza. Many of our residents walk to the Plaza for their banking, dining and shop for all of their needs. We are within 8 miles south of downtown historic St. Augustine, the nation’s oldest city.
